I came across a great book for diversity. What a Family! by Rachel Isadora. Thought it best to make a note of it lest it leave me...

As an aside - I'm in the throws of a second fieldwork with Mr. Nabinger and working with Dr. Small on a NYS study. I'm having a great time - I just need to put all my hobbies aside. My goal for next week is to join LMNet list serve and join CNYMS. $15 bucks - bam.

Hello Friend

Hello!

So here I am on blogger.com. There's something slightly daunting about the first run - but equally satisfying. To kick things off I've come across the following video "Will Google's Book Scan Project Transform Academia?" on youtube. It features James Duderstandt, President Emeritus at the University of Michigan as a member of the Educational Power Panel Discussion in New York, NY (City University of New York (CUNY)) via FORA.tv.

Now more than ever it is imperative to consider the mission of the librarian vs. the library. Check out They Named the Building After Us: The Library as Conversation from R. David Lankes onVimeo. http://conversant.ning.com. I love it when the stars align.

Spring,
